Furniture protection specialist extends retailer partnership

Furniture protection business Guardsman has announced a new contract with one of its long-established retailers.

Forging a partnership that has lasted well over a decade, Guardsman has re-signed its contract with furnishings retailer HSL to continue to provide a tailored furniture protection plan package.

Reflecting on their success so far, Guardsman said that the benefit of working with HSL for such a long time is that “we truly understand their business and customers”.

“A typical HSL customer will tend to spend more time seated, so the Guardsman package is suited to their individual needs and requirements, from covering head and arm grease to accidental structural damage,” said Lyndon Willshire, Commercial Director at Guardsman.

“This means the customer is getting something that offers fair value, which as we know is a fundamental part of the FCA’s Consumer Duty principle, and HSL is offering something that is unique to their “proud to do things differently” approach.

“We are thrilled that HSL has once again chosen to partner with us. Our continued commitment, understanding and collaborative approach is why we believe some retailers continue to partner with us.”

Leanne Eastwood, Commercial Director at HSL, added: “We are proud of our longstanding partnership with Guardsman, which is built upon our shared values and aligned approach. We look forward to continuing to work closely in delivering the very best service for our customers.”
