Andrew Martin expands sofa and chair range after sales uptick

Global design brand Andrew Martin has announced the relaunch of its designer sofas and chairs.

With over 30 new designs added to the collection, the relaunch demonstrates the brand’s commitment to its philosophy of ‘buy once, buy well’, with each piece handcrafted using time-honoured techniques.

The relaunch is in response to an 18% uplift in sales for Andrew Martin’s iconic Truman sofa over the last 12 months. Mike Durbridge, CEO at Andrew Martin, comments: “We introduced 12 new sofa designs in the past six months and the early reaction from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive. Having over 20 sofa models in stock and ready for delivery within 7-10 days is a key facet of our customer offer.

“We have also seen a remarkable uplift in both retail customers and interior designers ordering custom-made sofas using our range of bold and luxurious fabrics. Demand has increased to such an extent that we are doubling the size of our own UK production facilities to cope with it.”

Martin Waller, founder of Andrew Martin, added: “The sofa is the unsung hero of our home and it’s important to get it right. It’s where we hide behind for Dr Who, share the Pinot Grigio with our loved one, celebrate England’s triumphs and penalty traumas, shout at our politicians, cry at Britain’s Got Talent and laugh with our kids.”

The relaunch not only expands the sofa range, but also introduces a redesigned website experience, providing customers with an intuitive platform to explore.
