Kitchen furniture manufacturer Stoneham Plc has reported a slight decline in sales while profit returned.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales fell 3% to £6.3m from £6.5m in 2022.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £94,000, up from a loss of £128,000 year-on-year.
Stated within its report, Stoneham, which also manufactures furniture for utility, media, bedrooms and studies, said: “The sales performance for 2023 comprised a slower start to the year than we had forecasted but ended in a strong performance, ahead of forecast in Q4.
“A healthy forward order position exists for 2024. Stoneham added new appointed kitchen centres in 2023 with a total of 35. The product range was also updated to incorporate latest colour and design trends, storage features and appliances.”
