Fitted furniture manufacturer Strachan has reported an increase in both top and bottom lines.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2021, total sales rose 22.3% to £7m from £5.7m in 2020.

Gross profit increased to £3.4m from £2.6m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £880,000, up 228% compared to £268,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its review, the company said that it experienced a ‘significant increase in demand’ following the pandemic.
