Home products company Williams-Sonoma has announced the publication of its 2023 Impact Report.
The annual report highlights Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s progress towards the company’s sustainability and social impact goals.
In 2023, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. focused on operational efficiencies and the adoption of innovative solutions to drive progress towards the company’s sustainability goals.
The company also launched GreenRow, a new sustainability-focused home furnishings brand and strengthened commitments to worker wellbeing programmes that positively impact communities around the world where Williams-Sonoma, Inc. business is conducted.
Other notable highlights from the report included the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions across the company’s value chain driven by the adoption of renewable energy, including expanded use of green power and solar power.
Furthermore, the company has adopted innovative packaging solutions, reducing unnecessary packaging, diverting waste from landfills and continuing its investment in Fair Trade Premiums, Nest Certified Ethically Handcrafted products.
