Supplier of decorative panel products, Lawcris, has reported another year of strong sales despite a slight decline in turnover.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales fell 2.1% to £107.2m from £109.6m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £8.4m, down from £12.4m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “The directors are satisfied with the results for the year. Turnover has fallen as expected on the previous year as demand returns to pre-covid levels.

“Gross profit margins have also shrunk as anticipated and reflect the easing of pressures within the supply chain.

“Overheads continue to be carefully managed through variance analysis on a month-by-month basis. The company continues to be well-positioned within the industry for future growth.”
