Components manufacturer BHK (UK) has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales rose 3.5% to £14.6m from £14.1m in 2022.

UK sales were up 3.6% to £14.1m from £13.6m, while EU revenues rose 2.1% to £482,000 from £472,000.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.3m, up from £809,000 against the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said that it had continued to invest in machinery and people during the year, as well as investing in training in automation technology to implement automation solutions in-house.

BHK (UK) manufactures chipboard, MDF and plywood drawers, bases and profiles for general furniture use.
