Bed manufacturer Millbrook Group has reported sales of over £40m across an extended accounting period.
According to its latest filed accounts for the 18-month period ended 31 December 2023, total sales resulted at £41.2m. Sales for the 12-month period ended 30 June 2022 stood at £31.3m.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £12.1m.
UK and EU sales accounted for £36.9m of revenues, while other exports reached £4.2m.
Stated within its report, the company said: “Allowing for the fact that it was an 18-month period, overall sales were 12.4% down on the previous year.
“The contract business continued to perform as expected. Costs were incurred in relation to the beds business.
“One recent significant success was the development of a self-contained effluent treatment solution that has reduced disposable process filters by over 80%.”
