The Cotswold Company plans first North West store

The Cotswold Company, the digitally-led premium handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, has confirmed plans to open a new store in Knutsford.

According to a planning application submitted to Cheshire East Council, the new store will be situated at the former Barclays bank on King Street.

The plans state that the property needs ‘investment, refurbishment and bringing back into use’, with the store to be its first in the North West.

The council has already approved the plans, commenting that it would bring ‘empty listed building back into active use’.

A spokesperson for the Cotswold Company said: “We’re pleased to have secured planning approval for a showroom in Knutsford as part of our UK expansion strategy.

“We look forward to sharing more details about the store and our plans in the months ahead.”
