Wren’s bedroom trend predictions for 2025

Kitchens and fitted bedroom furniture retailer Wren has revealed its top consumer bedroom trend predictions for 2025.

Joanne Dodsworth, Head of Bedrooms at Wren Kitchens & Bedrooms, shares:

  1. Retro is back in vogue

2024 saw retro become a key trend within homes, and this is only going to become more popular in 2025.

Google searches for ‘Vintage bedroom ideas’ have increased by 70% in the past 30 days, and we predict that even more people will be sourcing retro décor and artefacts in charity and antique shops. Think naturally finished mid-century furniture, statement lamps and rustic colour palettes.

  1. Add more colour

Although neutral colours such as white and cashmere remain popular among our customers, we’re starting to see a growth in appetite for splashes of colour in bedrooms.

More vibrant colours such as green are rising to prominence among bedroom shoppers, which shows a trend away from previous neutral tones to enjoy a space filled with colour and character, which is something we believe will continue to increase.

  1. Personalised storage

In recent years, bedrooms have become spaces for much more than sleep, they are spaces people arguably spend the most time in and so the desire to tailor and personalise these spaces is more important than ever.

It’s a priority for people to create a beautifully organised space that’s personalised exactly to their taste, with bedrooms utilised now more for relaxation than just a place to rest.

Therefore, maximising storage space is a key desire and we as a brand have seen a notable rise in sales and enquiries into fitted bedrooms.

Wardrobes are not just limited to the standard hanging space, they allow for complete personalisation and we’re seeing a notable increase in customers adding more storage features to their wardrobes.

Whether it’s internal draws, shoe storage, sliding doors or built-in vanity units, all are available across the bedroom range to ensure your design fits your needs, allowing customers to organise and store much more than clothes.

Furthermore, we’ve seen an increase in features such as knee draws installed between wardrobes so customers can incorporate a dressing table in their room.

Space like this is ideal for storing or displaying our most treasured items that really show off our personalities.

  1. Entertainment

Due to the evolution of streaming platforms such as Netflix and Spotify, having a TV in your bedroom is more commonplace than it once was, with a recent study stating that over 50% of Brits now have one in their bedroom.**

At Wren we’ve seen sales of TV units rise, and this is something we firmly believe will continue to trend upwards, with customers keen to create their own personalised entertainment space within their bedrooms to enjoy their favourite shows or playlists in a comfortable, convenient setting.
