Family furniture business launches closing down sale

Family-run furniture business Pattens Furniture has announced a closing down sale.

Situated on High Street in Wolstanton, the business, run by Wayne Fenton, has decided to close and is selling off £475,000 worth of stock.

The closing down sale starts from 1 November with Wayne stating that the closure will allow him to focus on other business interests.

It is understood that the shop is not the same company as the business next door, which also trades under the name of Pattens and sells carpets, beds and appliances. That remains open.

“Get ready for MASSIVE PRICE REDUCTIONS with now up to 70% OFF on quality sofas and chairs, living, dining and bedroom furniture, stylish décor accessories and more – all available exclusively in-store,” a statement said.

“At our showroom, all stock will be priced to clear and EVERYTHING MUST GO as we close the store forever. This will be our last and biggest-ever Sale event.”
