British furniture-makers, Arlo & Jacob are primed to open new showrooms in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and St Albans, Hertfordshire.
The modern family business has its roots in the East Midlands, where they handcraft their range of sofas, chairs, footstools, and tables. At the moment they have showrooms across London, Bath, Bristol, Ely, Guildford, Harrogate, Marlow, Solihull, and Wilmslow, with a curated edit at their Creative HQ and Workshop in Melbourne.
Now they’re looking to serve more of their many Home Counties customers with physical showcases of all they have to offer. They’ve found a prime spot in Tunbridge Wells’ (pictured below) bustling Mount Pleasant Road, just steps off the high street. Over in St Albans (pictured plan adove), they’ll be basing themselves in Albert Bygrave Retail Park, alongside a wealth of design-forward neighbours.
Both locations feel like an excellent fit for a brand popular with commuter customers seeking top-tier craftsmanship with a refreshed British spirit.
With the addition of these two new locations coming from December, Arlo & Jacob will have a total of 12 showrooms across the UK. These will mark the latest openings in an exciting year of bricks and mortar expansion, allowing the small brand to better serve even more loyal customers.
“Here shoppers will encounter furniture to suit every style, made for modern living and guaranteed for life,” the company said. “Styles range from more traditional to thoroughly contemporary, and each piece can be tailored to taste, with modular designs available for a truly adaptable offering. Customers are free to browse endless fabrics, from House staples to designer options at price points to suit every budget. They’re also encouraged to explore design details like hand-turned hardwood legs made by a Derbyshire craftsman.”
