Independent furniture and beds retailer FL Caswell and Kettering Bedding Centre has announced plans to close due to retirement.

The retailer, which has been established since 1926 and is based on Montagu Street in Kettering, will launch a clearance sale at the end of the month and plans to close for the final time during March next year.

A statement said: “Due to retirement FL Caswell and Kettering Bedding Centre sadly announce that our Montagu Street store will be closing at the end of March 2025 after nearly 100 years of trading.

“We would like to sincerely thank all of our customers for their continued business and support over the years.

“We will be starting our Clearance Sale from Friday 27 December 2024, with all stock including beds, suites, occasional furniture, mirrors, pictures and more being reduced to “never to be repeated prices!”

“Please join us in store for our final goodbye and grab some of the amazing deals that we have on offer while you still can.”
