Beds and mattress manufacturer Dreamland Beds has addressed recent misinformation suggesting the company is closing down.
In a press statement, the company said that these claims are “entirely false”, and that the business “remains fully operational, continuing to trade without interruption”.
The statement continued: “The rumours stem from a transition involving the previous ownership, who has since made attempts to disrupt the company. The entity currently in liquidation is unrelated to the current business operations of Dreamland Beds.
“Under its new leadership, Dreamland Beds is thriving. The company recently welcomed a new Operations Director and Commercial Director, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
“Dreamland Beds has been showcasing its latest range of products at the January Furniture Show, featuring a brand-new stand and exclusive designs. The company continues to maintain strong partnerships with its suppliers, including the John Holden Group, AMR Textiles, Fotex, and Springtech, ensuring uninterrupted service to customers and stockists.
“As a proud member of the National Bed Federation (NBF), Dreamland Beds encourages customers and trade partners to visit its profile on the NBF website for further reassurance.
“We understand that misinformation can create concerns, but we want to reassure everyone that we are here, operational, and thriving. “We value the trust our customers and partners place in us and are committed to providing the quality and service they have come to expect.”
Dreamland Beds B’ham Limited was recently placed into liquidation, which is owned by a former associate of Dreamland. Dreamland Beds Midlands Limited, which has been incorporated since 2013, continues to be the company Dreamland Beds trades under. In a further statement, the business added: “Dreamland was a business that was previously run under two limited companies. However, this was not disclosed to the new owner upon transition.
“The main company being Dreamland Beds Midlands Limited is the one we trade under and run. The other company was set up by the old owner (incorporated in March 2022) and liquidated by them. It has nothing to do with our business.”
