French homeware and fashion brand La Redoute has reported a decline in sales but a return to profit within its UK business.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales fell 5.7% to £62.6m from £66.4m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £642,000, improving from a loss of £430,000 recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “The homes products range suffered a decline of 6.6%, apparel a drop of 3.9% and income from financial services was down by 14.1%. Gross margin reduced by 0.1% to 49.4%.”
