Danish furniture retailer JYSK has set an internal record and received employer awards and certifications across 21 countries.
The acknowledgement aligns with JYSK’s ambitions to provide a great offer for employees. This financial year, which ends in August 2025, the global retailer JYSK has proved the company’s dedication to making JYSK a great workplace by obtaining employer awards and certifications across 21 countries, as well as being globally ranked by Forbes as one of the ‘World’s Best Employers’.
“We are proud that so many JYSK departments and countries are being recognised for their hard work and dedication to making JYSK a great place to work,” says Camilla Ölander, Head of Talent Acquisition at JYSK.
It is the first time that so many JYSK countries have received an employer award or certification. Across 10 countries, JYSK received the certification of ‘Top Employer’ which is awarded by the independent organisation, Top Employer Institute, which assesses companies’ HR practices and employee experience.
In Spain, Denmark, and Finland, JYSK received the employer certification of ‘Great Place to Work’ which is based on employee surveys and feedback, while more JYSK countries were awarded local certifications.
It is not only in the certified countries that JYSK is acknowledged as an employer. According to JYSK’s latest internal employee satisfaction survey from 2024, JYSK scores 75 out of 100 points on job satisfaction and motivation among employees across all JYSK countries.
“The most important thing is that our people are motivated and satisfied,” Camilla Ölander says and continues: “JYSK should be a great offer for all employees, and our internal surveys show that our company values – Tradesman, Colleague, and Corporate Spirit – are valid in all JYSK countries.”
