Bed brand incurs further losses

Bed brand Origin Mattress has reported widening losses in a revised set of accounts.

According to its amended accounts for the year ended 31 July 2024, losses stood at £547,000, widening from its loss of £295,000 recorded in 2023.

The loss was also greater than the £410,000 loss it reported back in May when accounts were first filed.

Year-end cash did improve from £33,000 to £262,000.

Compared to its first set of accounts filed in 2022, the company posted losses of £23,000.
