Carpet retailer Tapi Carpets & Floors has announced its latest store opening in Washington, on the site of former Carpetright store.

Tapi was born in 2015 by a handful of flooring industry specialists passionate about flooring and placing customers at the heart of everything they do. 

In July, Tapi Carpets & Floors bought Carpetright when the company went into administration, which included taking over 54 stores from the retailer across the region.

Washington adds to its portfolio of more than 190 Tapi stores. The new store is located at Unit A, Armstrong Retail Park, Armstrong, Washington, and opened during the weekend of 19 July 2025.
