Manufacturer of made to measure doors for kitchens, bedrooms and bathroom furniture, Browns 2000, has reported a growth in sales and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 31% to £9.7m from £7.4m in 2020.
Gross profit increased from £3.4m to £4.9m while pre-tax profit resulted at £1.3m, up from £294,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, Browns said that gross margin has increased marginally to 51% from 47% with the business continuing to trade successfully despite the challenges of Covid-19 and the economic backdrop.
“We have invested significantly in our asset base which we believe will improve efficiencies going forward. We are confident that the investment will result in increased turnover and margin in future years,” the company added.
