Bed manufacturer delivers bottom line growth

Bed manufacturer Dura Beds has reported consistent sales as profit showed growth.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 November 2023, total sales dipped slightly to £12.7m from £12.8m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £141,000, up from £121,000 recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said that staff costs to sales ratio stood at 19.86%, decreasing from 20.52% last year, while gross profit margin increased at 39.25% from 36.77%.

“In order to remain competitive, profits will be invested into staff to ensure that they are able to respond to advances in the market and customer demand,” the business added.
