National bed retailer Bensons for Beds has announced the opening of its latest store.
Situated at the Mero Retail Park on Lower Bristol Road in Bath, the new store takes over a unit previously occupied by Carpetright, which went into administration earlier this year.
The new store adds to the recent 15 openings over the past month, with Bensons taking over a number of Carpetright’s former sites.
Nick Collard, CEO of Bensons says: “The scale of openings we have managed to take on in the last few weeks is unprecedented by us as a business and is a huge feat for any retail business, particularly in the current economic climate.”
Joanne Davies, Regional Sales Manager for the new store said: “We are really excited about opening this Bath location and expanding the Bensons brand further in the UK.”
