National beds and mattresses retailer Bensons for Beds is opening a new store in Sheffield Meadowhall.

The retailer has moved into Meadowhall retail park with the store covering a space of 6,800sqft and employing five staff from the local area.

The new store, which officially opens on 21 March 2025, has been expertly designed to showcase a huge range of beds and mattresses as it invests significantly in building a portfolio of brands that cater to every sleep need, with Bensons for Beds’ own ranges, Simply by Bensons, Slumberland and Staples & Co, being handcrafted and made to order in the UK at its dedicated British Kitemark quality accredited factory in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

The new opening comes as the brand continues to gain significant market share across its core bedroom categories, building on gains made in the last two years. These advances follow significant investment made in its sleep advisor training in-store, continued offering of value for money, new product launches and investments in its digital capabilities.
