Bespoke furniture business Ashton & Coleman has announced the opening of its new store in Derbyshire.

Situated on Dale Road in Matlock, the new showroom open on 9 March 2024 and has undergone a complete refurbishment, taking over a former bar and grill space.

The business manufactures solid wood beds, tables, sideboards, wardrobes, chests of drawers, sofas and chairs in their workshop at Ladygrove Mill, Two Dales.

The owners, Simon Ashton and Pete Coleman, co-founders of Ashton & Coleman, decided that Matlock was a great location to open a store due to the footfall in the town, which is hoped to further expand their exposure.

Commenting on the opening, Ashton & Coleman said: “We’re open! It’s taken a while to transform the interior from its previous use into a space that fully represents the quality of work that is synonymous with Ashton & Coleman. We hope you find time to stop by and check it out.”
