Discount retailer B&M has announced the opening of its new, larger store in Morecambe.

Following the closure of its other site in the town at the beginning of August, B&M has now officially opened the doors to its new 21,510sqft location at Central Retail Park on Hilmore Way.

The new store also features an 18,116sqft mezzanine floor dedicated to Home by B&M, offering homeware products including home décor and furniture.

B&M opted to relocate to a bigger site following customer demand at wanting more product choice, including a larger selection of homewares.

Speaking after the re-opening, the store manager at B&M Morecambe said: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big branded products.”

“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, and we’re really excited to finally have the doors open.”
