Carpet manufacturer Brintons has reported another growth in turnover and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 28 September 2024, total sales rose 4.4% to £73.3m from £70.2m in 2023, further adding to its growth of 16.8% from £60.1m in 2022.
EBITDA stood at £10.6m, down from £11.2m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £6.2m, up from £4.7m recorded in the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The business performed well with continued revenue growth as end markets continued to recover across the globe. The net earnings profile was impacted by a weakness in the US dollar and above inflation increases in direct labour across Europe.
“Despite this, we experienced a reduction in energy and material costs in the second half, which should contribute to a stronger margin profile looking ahead.”
