Online home furnishings brand Amara, part of the Frasers Group, has reported a growth in sales while losses slightly narrowed.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2024, total sales rose 28.5% to £4.5m from £3.5m in 2023.
Sales of goods remained flat at £3.5m, while royalty income stood at £955,000. During the period, the company changed its operating model to now generate a royalty or licence fee from a related group undertaking.
UK sales were up 49% to £3.9m from £2.6m, while EU sales fell from £435,000 to £278,000. Rest of the world sales also declined, down from £437,000 to £280,000.
Pre-tax losses resulted at £1.6m, narrowing from a loss of £1.9m the previous year.
