Components manufacturer Leggett & Platt Springs UK has announced the appointment of two new Account Managers.

Tom Rafferty has been appointed as Account Manager for the Northern territory, which Nick Hardy-Gillings has taken the role to cover Southern territory.

Commenting on the double appointment, Leggett & Platt UK said: “To service customers with this level of support, commitment must be high and ideas fresh. That is why we are pleased to announce Tom Rafferty and Nick Hardy-Gillings as Leggett & Platt Springs UK’s newest Account Managers for the Northern and Southern territories.

“Tom comes to us from City Electrical Factors with years of experience in operations, sales, and account management. He has spent his career in the electrical, mechanical, and machinery industries at companies such as Hallam Castings, Wolds Engineering Services, and Pro-Arb Machinery.

“Tom brings new, exciting ways to gain opportunities, nurture client relationships, and consistently drive revenue growth to Leggett & Platt. In his free time, Tom enjoys travelling and motorsports. In fact, he once was a top-five English professional kart racer and raced internationally.

“Nick has over 25 years of experience in sales, business development, territory management, and logistics. He’s worked for companies such as Tankfreight, Xerox, and Antalis, and was most recently in the reconstructive implant division at Zimmer Biomet.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in driving sustainable business growth, CRM systems, and account management to Leggett & Platt. Outside of work, Nick is a former rugby player and Rugby Union coach. He also enjoys cheering on his son, who plays American football and is a member of the prestigious NFL Academy.”
