Contract furniture firm delivers strong year with sales up 50%

Contract furniture supplier Eclipse Furniture has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 51% to £20m from £13.2m in 2020.

UK sales were up 52% from £12.5m to £19m, while EU sales also rose 46% to £778,000 from £531,000. Rest of the world revenues doubled to £262,000, up 98% from £132,000.

Gross profit increased from £4.7m to £7.6m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £2.5m, up 108% from £1.2m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company delivered a strong year with gross profit margin increasing from 36% to 38%, while net assets valued a total of £5.3m, rising from £3.9m year-on-year.
