Danish homewares retailer Søstrene Grene has announced plans to open a new store in Leeds.
Situated at Trinity Leeds, the new store is expected to open in the New Year with an official launch date set to be confirmed soon.
The location is currently undergoing a refurbishment and adds to existing stores in Yorkshire, including sites in York, Sheffield and Wakefield, with the latter recently opening at Trinity Walk Shopping Centre in September.
The new store will kitchenware, furniture, seasonal decor, gifts, and toys. The opening forms part of the retailer’s ongoing expansion strategy in the UK, with other recent launches over the past 12 months including Brighton, London, Cheltenham, Kingston, High Wycombe and Bracknell, as well as in Liverpool, Tunbridge Wells, Glasgow and Leamington Spa.
The company said: “2024 was a year of growth and success for Søstrene Grene, and we’re eager to carry that momentum into 2025. The Leeds opening is set to be another exciting step in our UK expansion, and we can’t wait to bring our designs to even more customers.”
Søstrene Grene has over 300 stores worldwide specialising in Scandi-inspired designs in a wide variety of homewares, soft furnishings and furniture. The brand aims to open 100 stores in the UK by 2030 and reach 500 stores globally by 2027.
