Supplier of decorative panel products, Lawcris, has reported a surge in sales as profit surpassed £10m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2021, total sales rose 38.8% to £94.4m from £68m in 2020.

Gross profit increased from £17.2m to £28.2m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £13.8m, up 193% from £4.7m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said that turnover has increased despite ‘continued economic pressures’, with gross margins also increasing at an ‘agreeable level’.

“Overheads continue to be carefully managed through variance analysis on a continuous month by month basis. The company continues to be well placed to navigate the uncertain economic times ahead,” Lawcris added.
