Family business expands into furniture with debut store

Independent furniture and home décor business JT England has announced the opening of its debut store in Derbyshire.

Situated at Mercia Marina on Findern Lane, Willington, the new store also adds to its product category expansion into furnishings.

JT England, which has been launched by 17-year-old entrepreneur Barney Whitworth and his mother, Sarah Hart, who also runs a sister company, clothing store Be Well at the same location, typically sold candles and giftware, but has now expanded in furniture.

The new store is set to officially open on 27 July 2024.

“We are excited to announce that as part of our new range, JT England Home & decor, we will be opening a new shop at Mercia Marina,” the business said. “We can’t wait to show you all of our exciting ranges and new products.

“We will have a large range of candles, diffusers & refills available in store as-well as many other items including small furnishings, home decor items & various gifts!”
