Department store retailer John Lewis has issued a product recall on a cushion product over fire safety concerns.

In a notice by the Office for Product Safety and Standards, the product recall is for the John Lewis & Partners Carnival Floor Cushion.
The products originate from India and is described as a multicoloured floor cushion with carry handle. It was sold between July 2023 to February 2025.
A statement said: “The product presents a risk of fire as it does not meet fire safety requirements. This means there is a potential risk of a fire if the product is exposed to an ignition source.
“The product does not meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. The product has been recalled from end users.
“If you have purchased this item, you should stop using it immediately and return it to your nearest John Lewis store for a full refund or exchange. If you have any questions, please contact the John Lewis customer services team on 03456 049 049.”
