Flooring manufacturing group Karndean has reported consistent sales while profits declined.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales fell 0.3% to £110m from £110.4m in 2022.

UK sales slipped 3.8% to £92.1m from £95.8m, while EU revenues increased to £16.4m from £13.1m. Rest of the world sales remained flat at £1.5m.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £7m, down from £18.9m recorded the previous year.

As for its parent group, total global sales fell 8.4% to $367m from $401m, with pre-tax losses resulting at $17.1m, down from a profit of $6.3m.
