Former Herman Miller CEO appointed as Mater Chairman

Mater, a Danish greentech company known for its sustainable furniture and work developing materials for furniture manufacture from waste streams, has announced the appointment of Brian Walker as Chairman of the Board, effective 1 May 2023.

Brian Walker brings a wealth of experience in the furniture industry, having served as the CEO of Herman Miller, a global leader in office furniture and design, for 14 years.

During his tenure, Walker successfully led the company through a period of remarkable growth and expansion, driving innovation, sustainability, and employee engagement. His strategic leadership and deep understanding of the furniture industry make him an invaluable addition to Mater’s Board.
