Furniture brand opens new showroom and HQ

Furniture brand Maker&Son has announced it is moving into a new showroom and headquarters in Sussex.

Situated at The Courtyard at Holmstead Farm on Staplefield Road, the new showroom promises an “extraordinary experience for furniture enthusiasts, interior designers, and anyone seeking high-quality, made-to-order pieces crafted from all-natural materials”.

The new showroom officially opens on 18 November 2024 and offers a unique environment that reflects Maker&Son’s commitment to craftsmanship and sustainable design.

With four thoughtfully designed rooms to explore, the showroom is more than just a place to view furniture — the team have set out to create an immersive experience.

These include the ‘Sleep Room’, showcasing its beds, mattresses and mattress toppers, and the ‘Materials Room’, where clients can touch and feel the natural components that go into each piece of handmade furniture, as well as an interior designers and trade hub, offering a private consultation room within the showroom.

Bradley Coulson, Owner & Director, said: “We are thrilled to be opening our new ‘home’ for the brand in Sussex which we hope will offer both our private and trade clients a space to experience the comfort and quality of our furniture, as well as showcase a number of unique handmade pieces crafted by our ‘Makers’ and some exciting new designs that we’ve been working on.”
