Online furniture business Jay & Co has confirmed plans to open its first physical store in Dorset next month.

Jay & Co, founded by The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades and sells reclaimed and restored furniture alongside specially commissioned projects, will open its debut store in The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole on 13 March 2023.

The furniture enterprise also includes a selection of experts including collaborator and fellow business owner Steve Wyatt of Restored Retro, which was Jay & Co’s first stockist.

Jay Blades features as host of the popular BBC One ‘The Repair Shop’ programme where members of the public look to restore family heirlooms.

Commenting on Jay & Co’s imminent arrival in Poole, The Dolphin Shopping Centre said: “In collaboration with Restored Retro, Jay & Co opens its first brick-and-mortar store on Kingland Crescent. Jay & Co is a reclaimed, restored and redesigned furniture retailer founded by television presenter and furniture restorer, Jay Blades MBE.

“The new store will be positioned next to Restored Retro with the adjoining wall removed for the two businesses to co-habit together in a much larger space. Their doors open on 13th March, so save the date to get the opportunity to see, feel and experience their outstanding furniture.”
