Retail sales training specialist Furniture Sales Solutions (FSS) has announced the appointment of Ruben Hankinson as its new Sales Director.

FSS are a family business, made-up of Adam Hankinson (MD and Head Coach), his eldest son Denholme (Head of Operations) and now his youngest son Ruben.

“We have been a team of two for a few years and as we’ve taken on more and more clients, we’ve achieved a level of success where we now need someone with the right mindset and experience to help take us to the next level,” Adam said.

“Ruben, my younger son, has years of experience within the industry, working in a highly competitive and successful furniture retail company. He’s worked alongside CEO’s and other key decision makers across the UK and internationally, helping them grow their businesses. He’s also helped in delivering our training sessions and meeting clients at trade shows for years, so he feels like the perfect addition to our growing team. 

“With Ruben’s help we’ll now be able to spend even more time working directly with our valued clients, delivering our award-winning training, providing invaluable one-on-one feedback during our shopfloor follow-up days and ultimately delivering our promise of 1 more sale, per salesperson, every single week.”

Commenting on joining the family business, Ruben said: “Having first-hand experience within the industry, I know how challenging selling can be.
