Furniture supplier Bentley Designs has reported another year of consistent turnover and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2022, total sales reached £18.2m, a slight decline from £18.6m in 2021. Pre-tax profit resulted at £1m, in line with the previous year.
UK sales were up 0.7% to £13.8m from £13.7m, while revenues within its EU division fell to £4.4m from £4.9m.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The results for the year were in line with expectations. Turnover decreased 2% but the company has been working on reducing its overhead costs which has allowed it to absorb both the reduction in turnover and a large part of the currency loss without significantly affecting net profit.”
