“The weather this week was dry and summery with clear skies in most parts of the country, but wet and windy in the north. During the same week last year, sunny spells and mild weather swept across the UK, but northern parts saw wet conditions due to Storm Betty.”
Overall footfall increased by +1.5% compared to the corresponding week last year. Retail parks saw a climb of +5.1%, leading the growth in footfall this week. Both high street and shopping centres saw flat footfall results this week, recording growth levels of +0.4% and +0.3% respectively.
