The Cotswold Company, the digitally-led premium handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, has signed a lease on a £26m warehouse at Fradley Link in Staffordshire.
The business has taken occupancy of Link79, a newly built 79,299sqft unit located off the A38 near Lichfield. This deal builds on the company’s existing presence at Fradley Park, where it previously leased the 139,000sqft Axis 38 unit in 2022, also developed by Evans Property Group.
Both were constructed by GMI and include sustainability features such as electric vehicle charging points, solar panel-ready roofing, symphonic drainage systems, and cycle storage. The units are designed to achieve EPC A and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ ratings.
The second building, Link205, provides 206,161sqft of space and includes a high-capacity power supply and is now available for immediate occupation.
Alan Joseph, chief operating officer at The Cotswold Company said: “We’re pleased to be expanding our presence at Fradley Park, where we already have successful operations and a strong relationship with Evans Property Group. A prime location and a well-appointed unit were essential to support our wider growth plans, enabling us to enhance customer service and consolidate distribution and warehousing into a single operation. We look forward to building on our work with Evans as we continue to grow.”
Richard Bean, portfolio director at Evans Property Group said: “This letting extends our existing relationship with The Cotswold Company and reflects our confidence in Fradley Park as a premier distribution location. It also demonstrates the strong demand for high-quality, sustainable logistics space. We’re proud to be delivering modern accommodation that meets the needs of today’s occupiers and supports long-term growth in the region.”
