IKEA confirms Norfolk store opening

Swedish furniture retailer IKEA has revealed plans to open a new store in Norwich.

Situated on Hall Road Retail Park, the new store will take over a former Homebase site.

IKEA confirmed that it will open during the summer, but didn’t reveal an exact opening date.

The news follows its recent planning application approval where the retailer got the green light for advertisement consent outside the unit via Norwich City Council.

IKEA said in a statement: “We are excited to be opening our new Norwich store later this summer.

“While we can’t confirm the exact launch date at this stage, we will be sharing more details very soon.”
