Independent carpet and flooring retailer Carpet Bargain Centre has announced the opening of its new store in Newark.

Situated on 37 Appletongate, Newark, the new store officially opened on 5 August 2024 and brings its portfolio to seven shops across the East Midlands.

Carpet Bargain Centre’s other stores are located in Wellow, Ollerton, Blidworth, Warsop, Shirebrook and Mansfield.

The new store, which replaces a former carpet retailer Kings Flooring that closed last year, offers a free measure and estimation service alongside a variety of carpet, vinyl, laminate flooring, LVT flooring and rugs.

The retailer said it was looking forward to serving the area and had an “amazing” opening morning on its first day of trading.
