Independent homewares retailer announces closure

Homewares, accessories and giftware retailer Regalos has announced plans to close.

Situated in Dentons Green in St Helens, the company has launched a closing down sale as it begins to wind down operations. It was founded by Alfie Shaw and his mum Jo-Anne during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the business said: “After an incredible few years, it’s time for us to say goodbye.

“Running Regalos has been a journey full of heart, hard work, and amazing customers — but we’ve made the difficult decision to begin winding things down.

“Starting today, we’re holding a massive 75% OFF closing down sale. Everything is reduced, and once it’s gone, it’s gone — both online and in-store.

“We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s supported us, shopped with us, and shared kind words along the way. Your support has meant more than you know.

“Please do share this post with friends and family — every final order helps us clear stock and close this chapter the right way. With love and thanks, Alfie and Jo & the Regalos team.”

The store remains open as the business sells its remaining stock, while sister store JC Kitchens, also owned by Jo-Anne, is unaffected by the close and continues to trade as normal.
