Independent furniture retailer Stubley’s has announced it plans to close due to retirement.
Situated on Church Street in Wellington, the retailer has launched a closing down sale and will close for the final time once all stock has been sold.
The retailer, which has been trading for 40 years, has also listed the property for sale at guide price of £179,000.
A statement from owner Mark Stubley said: “After 40 years in business as “Stubley’s”, the time has come to close our doors.
“Owning the business and working here in Wellington has always been an absolute privilege, but now is the time for retirement. I would like to thank you all for your loyalty, support and custom over the years. It has really been appreciated.
“Please be assured that the commitment to providing you with the best service is still our absolute priority. Do call in to “Stubley’s” and see our stock for a bargain!”
