Independent flooring and bed retailer Wilsons Carpets has reported a growth in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2024, total sales rose 3.4% to £45.3m from £43.8m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £3.2m, up from £1.8m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company, said: “The Directors are pleased to report that the business has performed satisfactorily during the year and the company continues to make investments into the business and its people. Trading for 2024/25 has so far been in line with expectations.”
