Kitchen and bedroom furniture retailer Wren has expanded its offering with a refit of more than 60 showrooms throughout 2024 that now include fitted bedroom products.
After initially launching bedrooms online in 2023, following extensive success in the kitchens sector, Wren now provides customers with a wide range of affordable and bespoke bedrooms, available to explore instore, with expert guidance on design, manufacturing and installation.
Wren’s showrooms also include VR technology that allow customers to visualise every detail of their bedroom layout, from storage solutions to wardrobe designs, ensuring homeowners can virtually see their dream bedrooms come to life before installation even begins.
Joanne Dodsworth, Head of Bedrooms at Wren, said: “Further expanding our in-showroom bedroom offering allows us to better showcase our expertise in design and customisation across the home.
“Our new bedroom displays and cutting-edge VR technology ensures customers can visualise their perfect kitchen and bedroom spaces with ease. This, combined with our winter sale offers, makes it more exciting and more affordable than ever to turn those dreams into reality.”
To further inspire those who are looking to rejuvenate their bedroom next year, Joanne has also shared her top predictions for achieving the perfect on-trend bedroom space in 2025.
- Retro is back in vogue
2024 saw retro become a key trend within homes, and this is only going to become more popular in 2025. Think naturally finished mid-century furniture, statement lamps and rustic colour palettes.
- Add more colour
Although neutral colours such as white and cashmere remain popular among our customers, we’re starting to see a growth in appetite for splashes of colour in bedrooms. More vibrant colours such as green are rising to prominence among bedroom shoppers, which shows a trend away from previous neutral tones to enjoy a space filled with colour and character, which is something we believe will continue to increase.
- Personalised storage
It’s a priority for people to create a beautifully organised space that’s personalised exactly to their taste, with bedrooms utilised now more for relaxation than just a place to rest. Therefore, maximising storage space is a key desire and we as a brand have seen a notable rise in sales and enquiries into fitted bedrooms.
Wardrobes are not just limited to the standard hanging space, they allow for complete personalisation and we’re seeing a notable increase in customers adding more storage features to their wardrobes.
Whether it’s internal draws, shoe storage, sliding doors, walk-in wardrobes or built-in vanity units, all are available across the bedroom range to ensure your design fits your needs, allowing customers to organise and store much more than clothes.
- Entertainment
Due to the evolution of streaming platforms such as Netflix and Spotify, having a TV in your bedroom is more commonplace than ever before, with a recent study stating that over 50% of Brits now have one in their bedroom.
At Wren we’ve seen sales of TV units rise, and this is something we firmly believe will continue to trend upwards, with customers keen to create their own personalised entertainment space within their bedrooms to enjoy their favourite shows or playlists in a comfortable, relaxed setting.
Wren has already installed bedroom showroom displays across the UK in the towns and cities listed below, with more showrooms to follow suit.
