ORGATEC TOKYO, launched in 2022 through a strategic partnership between Koelnmesse and the Japan Office and Institutional Furniture Association (JOIFA), has rapidly emerged as a premier international trade fair dedicated to office and workplace design.

Within just a few short years, the event has gained strong industry recognition, firmly establishing itself as Japan’s leading platform in the field. At the same time, it continues to expand its reach and reputation across the broader Asian market.

During its first three editions, ORGATEC TOKYO has brought together major domestic and global office furniture manufacturers, architects, spatial interior designers, distributors, and representatives from public institutions and industry associations. The event has served as a launchpad for new business opportunities and as a valuable forum for addressing the ongoing evolution of workstyles and environments. In a time when the future of the workplace is being redefined, ORGATEC TOKYO offers a uniquely curated platform that bridges global innovation with the specific needs of Japan and Asia.

In recognition of this strong trajectory and successful collaboration, Koelnmesse and JOIFA have formally agreed to extend their co-hosting partnership for a further five years, from 2027 through 2031.

Looking ahead, both organisations will continue to work closely to elevate ORGATEC TOKYO’s international relevance and reinforce its role as a forward-looking platform for workplace innovation throughout the Asian region.

The next edition of ORGATEC TOKYO takes place from 3 to 5 June 2025 at the South Halls of Tokyo Big Sight.
