Kutchenhaus celebrates 20 years with Portugal conference

German kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus recently celebrated its 20th anniversary by bringing its franchise partners together for a conference in the Algarve, Portugal.

Taking place between June 3rd — 5th in Almancil, Portugal, the trip welcomed professionals from Kutchenhaus showrooms, alongside parent brand nobilia and representatives from the central team, to say thank you for their collective hard work.    

The event saw the Kutchenhaus team speak about the brand’s 20-year journey and achievements, whilst also outlining plans for the future and how it will continue to support its franchise network on the growth of their businesses.      

The conference provided the opportunity for those in attendance to network, share ideas and meet members of parent company, nobilia, who listened to feedback and shared insight.

James Slater, Head of Central Operations, comments: “Our successful Portugal conference allowed us to bring our partners together all in one place for the first time. We arranged for that place to be the beautiful Portuguese Algarve, which allowed everyone to enjoy some sunshine and celebrate 20 years of Kutchenhaus.

“The trip started with a welcome meal on the first evening in Vilamoura, overlooking the beautiful Marina. From then onwards, spirits were high, as people connected and had the opportunity to network and share experiences with one another. This was a real positive of the trip, alongside spending time together, which attendees really valued.”

James continued: “We recognise that our strength and growth has been achievable thanks to continued investment and trust from our existing and new partners, and therefore we wanted to take the opportunity to show our appreciation.

“The conference allowed us to clearly share our ambitions for the future together with our parent brand nobilia, engaging with our partners to support the next chapter, as they are crucial to this.”

Rob Cash, owner of the Kutchenhaus Bath and Bristol showrooms, commented: “It was three special days celebrating 20 years of Kutchenhaus and what a journey we have been on so far. Growing from five showrooms when we opened Bristol, to now seeing Kutchenhaus in 75 locations across the UK, it’s been fantastic.

“The trip was a great opportunity to put faces to names, share best practices, ideas and marketing plans with other likeminded franchise partners, along with catching some sun and evening entertainment. I very much look forward to the future.”
