Lune mattress rolled out to hotel industry by Silentnight

Sleep brand Silentnight has announced the launch of its new hotel-designed premium pocket sprung mattress.

The Lune has been designed using 3Mesh™ structured comfort layer technology, which provides additional airflow, cushioning and durability by conforming to the sleeper’s unique contours, enhancing the overall sleep experience. Silentnight is the first manufacturer to use 3Mesh™ in its mattresses. The technology features a textile layer that revolutionises mattress breathability, ensuring optimal airflow to regulate temperature throughout the night.

Each mattress is handmade in the UK using sustainable materials in Silentnight’s carbon neutral+ factory in Lancashire. They are made with zoned mirapocket® support springs, which prevent sagging and offer enhanced spinal alignment and support, as well as SmartShield™ treated surfaces to eradicate bed bugs and improve longevity.

The product has been designed for specifically for use across hospitality estates, with housekeeping efficiencies, space for sleeper comfort and breathability front of mind. It also comes with a five-year guarantee.

It follows the success of Silentnight’s work in the sector alongside Premier Inn, with whom it is the official bed supplier for the UK and Europe.

David Lawrenson, sales director at Silentnight Group, said: “We know that when people spend a night – or an extended period of time – away from their own bed that sleeping well can be a challenge. The Lune is designed specifically with comfort, breathability and durability top of the priorities list.

“Being away from home shouldn’t mean a bad night’s sleep. The Lune offers hoteliers and others in the hospitality space a sustainable, easy-to-maintain and future-proofed option that will ensures guests return time after time. We’re looking forward to rolling out the Lune across the country and seeing its benefits provided to hoteliers and sleepers alike.”
