UK manufacturer of MDF wrapped mouldings and vinyl wrapped doors, Trade Mouldings, has reported a growth in sales as turnover surpassed £30m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2022, total sales rose 29% to £33.3m from £25.8m in 2021.

Gross profit increased from £8.5m to £12.1m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £5.1m, up from £3.5m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company, which produces MDF wrapped profiles and PVC membrane pressed doors for the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and furniture markets, said that results were ‘satisfactory given the current economic conditions’ and it will look to ‘maintain current trading levels’ moving forward.

“The directors will continue to seek every opportunity to increase both turnover and profitability where possible in the coming year.”
